Japan remains a world apart both geographically and in our imagination. Located at the extreme of the Far East, it has been known by the West even after the discovery of America! Because of this isolation sometimes voluntary, the island of the Rising Sun has built a culture that is always fascinating.
My discovery with that country was the readings of novels of Mishisma, Tanizaki and Kawabata to name only the troika of the most famous authors. For this first trip, I was fortunate to be welcomed and guided by Japanese people, which gives a special flavor to these pictures made in the spring during the cherry blossom (Sakura).
